  • My workshop "Pushing Your Pastels" will be offered July 29 – 31, 2013 at Peninsula School of Art in Fish Creek in beautiful Door County, Wisconsin. This three-day intensive is a great way to advance your skills in pastels beyond simply making a picture look like something.
  • Also in Door County, Wisconsin, the new season is open at Woodwalk Gallery as of May 3. My new work will be on display along with all the other great artists Margaret Lockwood carries. Opening reception Sunday May 26.

  • The Katie Gingrass Gallery has moved around the corner in Milwaukee’s Third Ward to the Marshall Building at 207 E. Buffalo Street Suite 100. Check out my work there in her lovely new space.
  • Four paintings will be exhibited in France this summer in the "Festival International du Pastel" at Ville de Feytiat. My work will be part of the group representing the Pastel Society of America, the guest of honor at the annual festival organized by the French Society " Les pastellistes de France " and the city of Feytiat, France.
  • Two paintings took honors at the Spring Exhibition of the League of Milwaukee Artists held at the Cardinal Stritch University Northwestern Mutual Art Gallery. "Moving in Accord" was Best of Show and "The Sky is Falling" received an honorable mention.
  • "Moving in Accord" will also be hanging in the 2nd Masters’ Circle Exhibition at the biennial convention of the International Association of Pastel Societies (IAPS) at the Hotel Albuquerque in Albuquerque, New Mexico in June.
  • And, also at the IAPS convention I will officially be inducted into the Masters’ Circle, a recognition of exhibition and award achievements in IAPS sponsored events.
